Firestone-Walker Brewing Company is one of my "home" beers, one that I drank happily as a local living on California's Central Coast. One head brewer is from California with its bear; the other from England with its lion. Homes can feel at war.

A small quotation of Frida Kahlo's painting, for Navajo people hummingbirds are tiny symbols of strength. I see them as hustlers who work hard to find the sweetest nectar, the ones who work hard for what sustains them and helps them to thrive.
