I was invited to install work at Xylo Brewery, whose taproom looks out onto the sea in Margate – the same sea view where the 2019 Turner Prize questioned the UK's relationship to the EU, refugees, and nationalism.

The logo for this Beavertown beer looks like a hand is reaching west, toward home for me. It also feels very much like a literal colonial land grab.
