IN THE SPIRIT: Exhibition in Tacoma, Washington

My piece, Navajo on the go, was part of the exhibition IN THE SPIRIT at the Washington State Historical Society in Tacoma, WA. IN THE SPIRIT features contemporary work by indigenous artists, working both in a traditional fashion and also in more contemporary ways. I was thrilled and honored to be a part of such a conversation and to be among such great work.

In the exhibition was Wat’sa with a Pearl Earring by my Banff friend, Alison Bremner, and work by Jeffrey Veregge, an indigenous artist I have long admired for his fusion of formline with superhero imagery. See more work from IN THE SPIRIT via the Washington State Historical Society.
