Banff Centre Open Studios

On Wednesday, December 11, we had the opportunity to open up our Banff Centre studios for the public to see. It was my last day in the studio–my paintings needed to dry a bit before I packed them away.

Surviving the apocalypse

Ch’ééná, is the Navajo word for a longing and homesickness for a way of life that is gone forever. Ch’ééná only exists post-apocalypse.

Bits of home

This weekend I took two buses, one taxi, and five airplanes. It’s been a week full of mini-adventures amid this larger adventure at Banff. Even as I develop my paintings, I find myself setting out on adventure hikes for ideas.
